The U.S. House of Representatives has adopted a resolution rebuking the Obama administration for launching military operations in Libya without congressional approval. The House voted 268 to 145 yesterday to approve the resolution sponsored by House Speaker John Boehner, which rebukes the administration for failing to comply with the War Powers Act. The law requires congressional authorization within 60 days of military action. That deadline expired last month. In another vote in the day, the House of Representatives rejected a resolution that would require the withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Libya within 15 days.
