U.S. President Barack Obama leaves for Tokyo today on an eight-day visit to Japan, Singapore, China and South Korea. This is his first trip to Asia as US President, which includes stops in Tokyo, Singapore, Beijing and Seoul. After Japan, Mr. Obama will fly to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Singapore before traveling to China for stops in Shanghai and Beijing.
