Obama calls for support to West Asia peace talks & be prepared to welcome a Palestine State

US President President Barak Obama has suggested to the UN General Assembly that when it meets next year, it may be welcoming a new member, Palestinian State. He urged the world to give up cynicism and support the current talks between Israelis and Palestinians. He told the Assembly that that bitter words and bullets will disrupt the process, pessimists and cynics will predict failure, but people should search what is best in themselves. On Iran, the US President said the door remains open to diplomacy should Iran choose to walk through. The Iranian Government must demonstrate its clear and credible commitment and prove the peaceful intent of its nuclear programme. Meanwhile, the United States staged a walkout at the UN General Assembly during the address by the Iranian President and several other delegates followed. About 30 delegations walked out led by the Americans who were deeply offended by President Ahmedinejad's remarks about 9/11. They were followed by all of the European countries and Australia, New Zealand, Canada, as well as Costa Rica.
