US President Barrack Obama has called for a comprehensive overhaul of America's immigration laws. He said, bringing illegal immigrants out of the underground economy will be good for the country as a whole. About eleven million illegal immigrants are thought to work in the US. Mr. Obama said immigration reform was an economic imperative. He called on Congress to reform the immigration system in a manner that would encourage skilled and motivated immigrants to participate in American society.
