New Zealand has drafted Muttiah Muralitharan as their spin bowling coach for the tour to Sri Lanka starting next week. Fast bowler Shane Bond has been named as the main bowling coach, but Muralitharan would help the spinners get in tune with the local conditions. Chaminda Vaas will also assist Bond in coaching the pacers. The tour will have one 20-20 match on 30th October, three one day international matches and two test matches. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has named Angelo Mathew as the captain of 20-20 side since Mahela Jayawardena had stepped down after World Cup final loss.
