New Zealand have recorded their first Cricket Test win in Sri Lanka in 14 years. In Colombo today, the visitors won the second Test by 167 series. Resuming their second innings at the overnight 47 for four on the final day, the hosts folded for 195 runs, 25 minutes after Tea. The two-match series is now level One-One. Sri Lanka had won the first Test at Galle by 10 wickets inside three days. The victory also ended New Zealand's five-match losing streak, their worst in 57 years. New Zealand's last win in Sri Lanka was in 1998. Kiwi Skipper Ross Taylor was adjudged player of the match for his knocks of 142 and 74, while Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath was named player of the series after taking 20 wickets, including 11 in Galle.The final scores:-New Zealand : 412 & 194 for 9 declared. Sri Lanka : 244 & 195.
