In the second and final cricket Test at Wellington, New Zealand Skipper Brendon McCullum's superb 281 not out has given the hosts a crucial 325 runs lead in the second innings over India, with the match going in the final day.Resuming the second innings play at the overnight score of 252 for 5, McCullum and Bradley-John Watling picked from where they left yesterday, and set a new world record, sharing 352 runs for the 6th wicket. Both played diligently for almost the full day and at tea, the Kiwis were 440 for 5, with McCullum completing a well-deserved double hundred and Watling making a superb ton. Post-tea, Watling was out for 124 off Mohammed Shami, which brought Jimmy Neesham at the centre. The situation was no different, as Neesham along with the captain steered the home side to post 571 for 6 at stumps on the fourth day today, and New Zealand had a lead of 325 runs. McCullum, who needs just 19 runs to become the first Kiwi to score a triple hundred, was at the crease at 281, with Neesham at 67.
