NZ beat India by 1 run to clinch two match series 1-nil

New Zealand registered a dramatic one run victory over India in the finalTwenty-20 of the 2-match series at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai last night. Put into bat, New Zealand posted 167 for 5 in the stipulated 20 overs, courtesy a quick fire 91 from wicket keeper Brendon McCullum. In reply, the hosts managed to score 166 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. India needed 13 runs from the last over but could only score 11, thereby losing the match by one run. McCullum was adjudged man of the match.With this, New Zealand have clinched the 2-match series, 1-0. The first match of the series was washed out due to rain on Saturday at Visakhapatnam.
