<span style="color: #222222;">As part of the ongoing nationwide Clean India Campaign, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized Cleanliness Drive today at Mumbai's iconic Gateway of India. Union Youth Affairs Secretary Usha Sharma, Director General, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Vijay Kumar, State Director NYKS Prakash Manure among others with youth from Social Organizations were present for the Cleaning of the premises.<br />'' <br />''Following Covid protocol, fifty volunteers were part of this drive that collected waste and also segregated it in dry and wet waste. Usha Sharma has expressed confidence that the target of 75 lakh kgs of the plastic collection will be surpassed. She added the drive is getting encouraging responses from lakhs of volunteers from NCC, NGOs, schools, local representatives across villages and cities. She emphasized that awareness will be created through the drive about the menace of single-use plastic and urged to ensure not to use it to that extent. The volunteers also spread the message of cleaning one's surroundings and avoid single-use plastic.</span><br />
