Nurses postpone their nationwide strike

Nurses across the country have postponed their nationwide strike today following assurance by Union Health Minister J P Nadda to look into their demands. <br/><br/>A senior Health Ministry official told a news agency that the decision was taken after a delegation of nurses met Mr. Nadda in New Delhi yesterday, who assured that their problems will be looked into. <br/><br/>Nurses have been agitating against the recommendations of 7th pay commission and demanding revision in their pay scale and hike in allowances.
