Number of steps taken for welfare of minorities: Salman Khurshid

The Minister for state for Corporate and Minority Affairs Salman Khurshid has said that Indian government has taken number of steps for the welfare of minorities in the country. He was speaking at a function of Indian minority community living in UAE, which was organised at Indian consulate in Dubai this evening. <br/><br/>Khurshid disclosed that his Ministry has for the first time identified ninety districts, which have 25 percent or more population of minorities and out of which 67 are Muslim dominated and other minorities dominate the rest. He informed that government has allocated 3700 crore rupees to these districts for the development.
