Number of active cases of COVID-19 rises to 2371 in Meghalaya

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222; font-size: 10pt;">In Meghalaya, 270 new COVID19 cases were reported today taking the total active cases to 2371 in the state. 115 new recoveries were also reported bringing the total number of recovered people to 4606.</span></p> <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Director of Health Services, Dr Aman War said that out of the new cases, 195 are from East Khasi Hills district, 26 from West Garo Hills, 19 from Ri-Bhoi, 10 from West Jaintia Hills, seven from South West Garo Hills, six from East Jaintia Hills, three from North Garo Hills, two from East Garo Hills and one each from South West Khasi Hills and West Khasi Hills district.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Another COVID 19 related death was registered from Ri-Bhoi district today taking the total fatalities to 60.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far Meghalaya has detected a total of 7037 COVID 19 cases. Out of them, 2371 cases are active, 4606 have recovered and 60 died.</span><br />
