The Nuclear Industry Summit and Expo is underway in Washington on the sidelines of Nuclear Security Summit. International experts and representatives of Public and private organisations are taking part in the event through deliberations and showcasing of their services concerned with nuclear technologies. <br/><br/>The Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP), Department of Atomic Energy along with Electronics Corporation of India has put up a stall at the summit expo highlighting its contributions to Global Nuclear Security. The GCNEP was launched by India after first Nuclear Security Summit 2010 and is located at Bahadurgarh in Haryana. The center conducts research design and development of nuclear systems that are safe and proliferation-resistant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the Indian stall today on the sidelines of nuclear summit.
