Country's largest power utility NTPC will be the official partner for the Commonwealth Games, scheduled next year. In a statement the company said the NTPC shall be the official Power Partner for the Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi. Power Secretary H S Brahma said the sponsorship by the company would be to the tune of Rs 50 crore. NTPC is also adding about 1,500 MW capacity for the games.
