Congress-backed National Students Union of India today made a comeback in the Delhi University Students Union, bagging two of the four crucial DUSU posts including that of the President and Vice-president in the elections which were held yesterday.<br/><br/>Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, which has a stronghold in DUSU, bagged two seats, that of the Joint Secretary and the General Secretary.<br/><br/>A total of 43 per cent voter turnout was recorded in the DUSU elections held yesterday. Last year, the ABVP bagged three posts while the NSUI won the post of Joint Secretary.<br/><br/>The Congress party has hailed the victory of the National Students Union of India on two out of four posts in Delhi University Students Union. All India Congress Committee Media-in-Charge Randeep Surjewala today tweeted the NSUI win showed that the youth of the country have rejected the false promises of 'Acche Din' made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
