The National Legal Services Authority proposes to organise Bal Adalats at state, district and taluk levels during the next financial year. This information was given in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today by the Law and Justice Minister, Veerappa Moily.To another question, the Minister said the government has, in principle, decided to set up a National Mission for Delivery of Justice and Legal Reforms. He said the proposed Mission will undertake strategic initiatives to reduce the period of pendency in the courts from an average of 15 years to an average of three years by 2012.
