<span style="color: #222222;">The National Security Guard on Thursday donated over Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund in the wake of the recent devastating floods in Kerala.</span><br />” <br />” <span style="color: #222222;">Director General of NSG Sudeep Lakhtakia presented the donation cheque to Home Minister Rajnath Singh at the latter's office in Delhi. The NSG Head informed the amount was raised through the contribution of NSG personnel who donated one day's salary.</span><br />” <br />” <span style="color: #222222;">The about 10,000-personnel strong National Security Guard is tasked to undertake counter-terror and counter-hijack operations and is the federal contingency force for such tasks.
