The Naga Students Federation (NSF) is planning to lift the two month old economic blockade of Manipur temporarily from tomorrow evening. <br/><br/>NSF's Kapani Krichena told AIR that they will suspend the blockade after consultations with other members in Kohima. A delegation led by NSF president Mutsikhoyo Yhobu met the Prime Minister this evening.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the central government today said paramilitary forces would be used to break the blockade enforced by Nagas in Manipur to ensure that supply of essential commodities enter Manipur, now facing an acute shortage of food and drugs. <br/><br/>Several Naga groups called an indefinite blockade of National Highway 39, Manipur's main lifeline, on 11th of Aprile to protest against the decision of the state government not to allow Naga separatist leader T. Muivah to visit his birthplace. <br/><br/>The Manipur government had banned 75-year-old Muivah's trip to his home village, saying it could lead to unrest.
