<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) in coordination with the Department of Food & Civil Supplies has asserted to continue to airdrop essential commodities in districts affected by landslide and flashflood in the state till normalcy returns. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a release, NSDMA said as a ground force for search and rescue two teams of National Disaster Response Force from Arunachal Pradesh have been stationed at Kohima and Dimapur. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It also said that all the line departments responsible for maintaining road and communication infrastructure in the State are putting in all efforts for restoration of life-line communication routes.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">NSDMA also said that Association of Off-roaders Nagaland has also been roped in to assist the stranded passengers and vehicles using their specially equipped off-road vehicles. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They are currently operating between Meluri and Kiphire. It also informed that IAF was requisitioned on 2nd of this month and the operations began from the 3rd August deploying two choppers to the affected districts. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During this four days of operation, IAF has airdropped almost 11 thousand kilograms of essential commodities including rice, dal, potato, salt, powdered milk, sugar etc to Tening in Peren district, Tobu in Mon district, Kiphire and Pungro in Kiphire district and Noklak in Noklak district. </span><br />
