The News Services Division of All India Radio held a workshop on e-waste management at its premises today. Addressing the workshop, Ram Khanna, an eminent expert in the field, said, the size of e-waste has doubled in the last 5 to 7 years. <br/><br/>He said, with rising dependence on digital products, e-waste is likely to get bigger in size in future. Mr Khanna said, these e-wastes contain toxic elements which have an adverse impact on environment. <br/><br/>He said, people have adopted the habit of living with waste and it is high time that to think on this seriously.<br/><br/>Currently, Maharashtra is leading the list of top generators of e-waste followed by Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.
