The National Security Advisor, NSA, Shiv Shankar Menon will hold the 14th round of crucial talks with Chinese special representative Dia Binggo to take forward the talks to resolve boundary issue between the two countries. Mr. Shiv Shankar Menon who reached Beijing on a three- day visit on Sunday, is India's Special Representative to hold talks over the boundary issue with China. The talks take place ahead of the Chinese Premier’s visit to New Delhi next month. The issue came up for discussion during Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's visit to Hanoi last month when he met the Chinese premier on the sidelines of ASEAN Summit. AIR correspondent adds that the two countries have signed agreements to maintain peace and stability in the border areas.
