<span style="color: #222222;">In Leh district of Union Territory of Ladakh, National Rural Livelihood Mission, NRLM is empowering women Self Help Groups .</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, in Leh suburban block of Chuchot, over 2000 women are now actively involved in economic activity in 140 Groups.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Women are into dairy farming, weaving, agriculture activities, tailoring, knitting, catering services and backery production and are now earning Rs. 20 to 30 thousand per month.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Groups are utilising the Leh markets and local requirements to market  their products and services. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">SHGs are provided with Rs. 1.50 lakh as revolving fund, and community investment fund of 40,000.
