The Uttar Pradesh government has allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation CBI to prosecute 27 government employees including 22 medical officers in the multi crore National Rural Health Mission scam. An official spokesperson told our Allahabad correspondent that an official communiqu’ to this effect was issued late last night. The Allahabad High court has fixed August 29 as the next date of hearing.
