CBI today raided Lucknow and Kanpur based residences of former health minister of Uttar Pradeh Anat Kumar Mishra in connection with NRHM scam. According to CBI spokesperson a team of CBI officers searched premises and seized some important documents regarding the scam.

CBI team also made an enquiry in the neighbourhood of residences at kanpur and lucknow . Recently CBI team called Anant Kumar Mishra to its office and interrogated several times.

Twenty two persons including former UP family welfare minister Babusingh Kushwaha, former BSP MLA Ram Prasad Jaiswal , IAS officer Pradeep Shukla and former CMO of lucknow AK Shukla are already in jail in connection with the scam. Thirteen cases are already registered in this regard.
