The ICC has said that it is extremely proud of the recognition given to Cricket by the International Olympic Committee, which it always considered to be first step in becoming a part of the Olympic family. The International Olympic Committee session in Vancouver, Canada approved its Executive Board’s decision to convert the ‘provisional’ recognition of the ICC to ‘full recognition’. <br/><br/>After this decision of IOC the cricket can now be included in the 2020 Olympic Games, though ICC is yet to decide that Twenty20 version or any other format, it will push for. <br/><br/>ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat has said that after the recognition of Cricket in Olympic, no consideration or decision has been made regarding participation or applying for approval to participate in the Olympic Games at this stage. <br/>
