Novak Djokovic retains Australian Open Men's Singles Title

World Number One Novak Djokovic has retained the Auustralian Open Men's Singles Title. In the final in Melbourne today, the Serbian defeated Andy Murray of Britain in straight sets 6-1, 7-5, 7-6. Djokovic also equalled the record of Roy Emerson's record of six Australian Open Singles titles. The defending champion also kept his unique record against Murray in the Australian Open Final, by beating the Briton for the fourth time in Men's Singles at the year's first Grand Slam championships. Murray succumbed to his fifth loss in five Australian Open finals. Djokovic claimed his 11th grand slam title to match the totals of Rod Laver and Bjorn Borg.
