World no 1 Novak Djokovic captured his fourth Rome Masters Tennis title with a convincing 6-4, 6-3 win over Roger Federer. Extending his winning streak to 22 matches, Djokovic proved too consistent and too quick for Federer. The match lasted just 75 minutes. Earlier, Russian Maria Sharapova ground down Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 to win the women's title. It is the 35th WTA Tour title of Sharapova's career.
