The Notification has been issued today to conduct Bye-election to Pulivendula Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. The Pulivendula seat fell vacant after the sudden death of the Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash last September. The polling will be held on December 19th while the last date of filing nomination papers is scheduled on December 2nd. Some political parties in the state such as Praja Rajyam Party and CPI have already announced that they will not contest the election in Pulivendula, others are yet to announce their decision in this regard. <br/>
