Notification for the sixth and final phase of Assembly elections in Bihar has been issued and filings of nominations are in progress. All arrangements have been completed for tomorrow's third phase of the Assembly elections. 48 constituencies spread over six districts are going to poll in this phase. Three constituencies of Patepur, Balmikinagar and Ramnagar Assembly constituencies are Naxal infested.Border with Nepal has been sealed to prevent any infiltration of anti- social elements. Jawans of Special Task Force will keep air surveillance to ensure trouble free polls. Satellite phones are being used to monitor the movements of Naxal activities. Chief Electoral Officer Sudhir Kumar Rakesh has appealed electorates of the state not to be scared and come in large numbers to exercise their right of franchise. Mr Rakesh said that Observers and Micro Observers have been appointed to ensure free and fair polls.
