In Bihar, notification for the third phase of elections is being issued today. AIR Patna correspondent reports that 48 constituencies spread across six districts of the state will go to the polls in this phase on the 28th of October. The districts are East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan Saran and Vaishali. Our correspondent reports that the last day for filing of nominations for the third phase is the 11th of October and scrutiny will be done the next day and candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till 14th October.
