In Bihar notification for the third phase of elections will be issued tomorrow. AIR Patna correspondent reports that 48 constituencies spread across six districts of the state will go to the polls in this phase on the 28th of October. The districts are East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan Saran and Vaishali. The last day for filing of nominations for the third phase is the 11th of October and scrutiny will be done the next day and candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till October 14. 211 candidates have so far filed their nomination papers for the first phase of assembly polls. Tomorrow is the last day filing of nomination papers for the first phase of elections. The BJP has released the second list of five candidates. With this the party has so far cleared the name of 92 candidates. The BJP has denied ticket to one sitting MLA. On the other hand The Lok Janshakati Party ( LJP) has released the second list of eight candidates. With this the party has so far released the name of 67 candidates. The LJP is to contest on 75 seats after making seat sharing agreement with the RJD.
