In West Bengal, notification for first phase Assembly Elections in the state will be issued on Thursday. The first phase elections will take place in 54 seats covering six North Bengal districts on 18th of next month. The Districts are Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Coochbeher, North and South Dinajpur and Malda. The last day of filling nomination is 31st of this month. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on 2nd of April while last day of withdrawal of candidature is 4th of next month. Meanwhile, the BJP has released second list of candidates for Assembly Poll in the state. The state unit president of the party Mr. Rahul Sinha released the names of 108 candidates in Kolkata on Wednesday. With these BJP has announced 214 candidates’ names out of 294 seats.
