Noted industrialist P Obul Reddy died in Chennai after a brief illness. He is survived by two sons and three daughters.<br/><br/>Reddy, 85 who died yesterday, was the founder and former Managing Director of Nippo Batteries and Chairman of Panasonic Home Appliances India Company. He was the proprietor of Dyanora TV and founder chairman of Panasonic Carbon India. <br/><br/>P Obul Reddy Public School and P Obul Reddy Educational Academy were established by him. Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala condoled his death.<br/>
