Noted footballer Sailen Manna died in Kolkata at early hours today after prolonged illness. He was 87. Manna was awarded the best footballer of the Century by the FIFA. He was member of the world winning Indian team of the Asian camp in 1951. Manna also got the Padma Shri Award in 1971. His last rites will take place today.
