The northern parts of the country continue to reel under the intense cold wave conditions. India Meteorological Department, IMD, has forecast severe cold wave conditions in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, north Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 24 hours. <br />''<br />''However, there will be gradual reduction in intensity and spread, thereafter in isolated pockets over the region during subsequent two days. <br />''<br />''IMD has also predicted dense to very dense fog over Punjab, Haryana and north Rajasthan during next 24 hours. However, Dense Fog in isolated pockets likely over the region during subsequent 3 to 4 days.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that the cold wave condition has intensified in the National Capital Region with further drop in the maximum and minimum temperatures. <br />''<br />''The residents of the national capital are experiencing biting cold condition. The Maximum temperature was today recorded 16.2 degree celsius, five degree below normal, while the Minimum temperature settled at 5.3 degree celsius which is three degree below normal. <br />''<br />''The weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky with dense fog in the morning hours. Tomorrow the maximum and minimum temperatures would be hovering around 19 and four our degree Celsius respectively.<br />
