In the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) has agreed to support Prime Minister Theresa May's minority government on an informal basis in Parliament. <br/><br/>The DUP has agreed to support the government on a confidence and supply basis, but will not be a formal coalition partner.<br/><br/>May failed to win a majority in the British Parliament in an election on Thursday. A deal with the DUP and their 10 lawmakers would give Theresa May a workable majority.<br/>'<br/>It may be recalled that after her two closest advisers, Nick Timothy and Fiona Hill resigned, May said that she intends to stay as Prime Minister despite failing to win a Conservative majority in the election. The Tories needed 326 seats for a win but fell short of eight seats.<br/>
