More than 600 players will be vying for top honours in the Northern Indian Table Tennis Championship which begins in Srinagar today. The tournament is being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association.Jammu and Kashmir Sports Minister R S Chib today told reporters in Srinagar that this is the first national ranking tournament of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) this year. Nearly 1700 matches will be played during the tournament which will be held at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex.
