Northern India experienced light showers yesterday evening bringing down the temperature. This was accompanied by a 48 kilometre per hour dust storm.<br/> <br/>In UP, the mercury has dropped after rain with thundershowers in various eastern and western districts. The high velocity wind uprooted trees and blown away thatched roofs and tin sheds at many places disrupting road communication and electric supply. AIR correspondent however, reports that the temperature is still above forty degrees Celsius in Bundelkhand, Vindhyachal and some central parts of the state.<br/>
