Northern India experienced light showers yesterday evening bringing down the temperature. This was accompanied by a 48 kilometre per hour dust storm.<br/><br/>Storms and showers in different parts of state especially in eastern Uttar Pradesh during last twenty four hours brought some relief from heat wave .According to Met department in most parts of UP the mercury is down by 2 to 4 degree Celsius .The highest temperature was 43.2 degree Celsius recorded in Urai district of Jhansi division, while in Agra the temperature was recorded 40 degree Celsius during last twenty four hours.<br/>After scattered rainfall yesterday, yet another pleasant evening is in the offing for the Capital with the Met Department predicting rainfall and thundershowers. According to the weatherman, this rainfall is being caused due to Western Disturbances. The mercury however continues to hover around 40 degree Celsius which is one degree above normal. The minimum temperature is likely to settle at 26 degrees.<br/>
