Northern California's raging wildfires continue to spread, fanned by stiff winds that forced new evacuations in a widening circle of damage.<br/><br/>Today's weather forecast for Northern California calls for high winds and low humidity, conditions that make it close to impossible to contain the 22 major wildfires burning north of San Francisco. California fire chief said, the death toll from the fires had risen to 21 and expected to go up further with more than 300 people missing.<br/><br/>According to officials, thousands of people have been left homeless and 25,000 people have evacuated their homes in Sonoma County alone. Fire Chief said said firefighters were battling a total of 22 wildfires that have burned over 170,000 acres.<br/><br/>President Donald Trump has declared a major disaster in California, freeing up federal funding and resources to help fight the fires. And Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency in eight counties.<br/><br/>
