<span style="color: #222222;">The Meteorology Department in Chennai has said, the well-marked low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal Tamil Nadu is persisting in the same region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Under the influence of the low pressure area, most places in north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry would  experience rain or thundershowers with heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in the region for the next twenty four hours.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Five north coastal and adjoining districts like Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Vellore and Tiruvannamalai would experience wind having a speed of 35 to 45 kilometers per hour, gusting up to 55 kmph.</span><br />
