North Korea has slammed US President Donald Trump's current Asia tour, saying it will only accelerate Pyongyang's push for a full-fledged nuclear deterrent. <br/><br/>In the first comments on the visit, Pyongyang branded President Trump's Asia tour a warmonger's visit. It said the visit was aimed at confrontation to rid North Korea of its self-defensive nuclear deterrence. <br/><br/>President Trump has repeatedly criticised North Korea as he urged the region to take a united front against the threat posed by the isolated nation with nuclear and missile tests in recent months. <br/><br/>Yesterday, President Trump warned world leaders gathered in the Vietnamese resort city of Danang that the Asia-Pacific region must not be held hostage to a dictator's twisted fantasies.<br/><br/>President Trump is set to land in Vietnamese capital Hanoi today where he will meet its Communist leadership.He leaves for the Philippines tomorrow afternoon where he will attend the ASEAN summit of Southeast Asian leaders.
