North Korea has denied the possibility that its high-level delegation to the PyeongChang Olympics will meet with US Vice President Mike Pence, who is attending the Games' opening ceremony. <br/><br/>Quoting Director General of the North American department of North Korea's foreign ministry, Jo Yong Sam, North Korea's state-run KCNA news agency said, North Korea has never requested a dialogue with the United States. <br/><br/>He said North Korea does not plan to meet with the US side during its visit to South Korea, as its purpose is to solely take part in the Olympics and celebrate its success. <br/><br/>Earlier US Vice President said United States wanted to peacefully dismantle North Korea's nuclear program but warned Pyongyang not to underestimate U.S. military strength or resolve. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said North Korea appears to have held a military parade, a day ahead of the Winter Olympics.
