North Korea has conducted a failed missile test today in defiance of increased US warnings that there would be serious consequences for such provocative actions, including a possible military response. <br/><br/>According to the U.S. Pacific Command, a North Korean missile blew up almost immediately as it was launched near the country's submarine base in Sinpo in South Hamgyong Province on the east coast of the country. <br/><br/>Today's attempted missile launch was reportedly not an intercontinental ballistic missile that Trump warned would not be allowed to happen.
