North interior Karnataka badly hit due to incessant heavy rainfall

<span style="color: #222222;">North interior Karnataka is badly hit due to copious rainfall for the last two days. A red category warning has been sounded in Bagalkot, Bidar, Kalburgi, Raichur, Vijayapura and Yadgiri. The Bhima River is at spate and rain water has flooded low lying areas in the city of Kalburgi. Water logging is reported from the township with people struggling to remove water from their households.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that bridges and roads have submerged near Sedam. Chincholi town is also impacted due to flooding. In Bagalkot, people residing near Krishna river have been shifted to safer areas as a precautionary measure.<br />''<br />''The Deputy Commissioner in the district, Captain Dr. K.Rajendra has issued orders to evacuate people from the danger zones. Weather forecast says that the rains may continue for two more days in North Interior Karnataka.</span><br />
