North India sizzled as temperatures remained above normal at most places and high humidity levels made life miserable for people.In capital Delhi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 43 degrees celsius yesterday.Temperatures remained high in Rajasthan as well with Churu being the hottest place at 44.6.Punjab and Haryana registered temperatures upto seven notches above normal at a few places.The Met office forecast no relief from intense heat conditions with the region mainly remaining dry in the next couple of days.
