<br/>Most parts of north India are facing hot weather conditions before the normal time. Getting no respite from heat, Delhiites witnessed a hot weekend as mercury level registered an increase yesterday, with maximum temperature recorded at 39 degrees Celsius. The Met Department forecasts a decrease by on degree in maximum temperature today. <br/><br/>The department forecasts the sky to be clear in day having no possibility of rain. However, Uncomfortable days and nights are likely to continue for residents over the next few days. Other cities like Churu, Bikaner and Jaipur in Rajasthan and Hisar in Haryana witnessed the mercury above or near 40 degree Celsius. <br/><br/>Cities like Chandigarh and Patiala, Ludhiana in Punjab and Jamuu recorded above 36 degree Celsius. The hilly city Shimla in Himachal Pradesh also recorded a maximum temperature of 23.5 degree Celsius.
