North India continue to reel under heat wave

There is no let up in the heat wave sweeping vast swathes of north India with temperatures hovering several notches above normal at many places in the region. The Met office said, the national capital reeled under searing heat with the maximum day temperature touching 42.4 degrees, six notches above normal yesterday. The minimum stayed four notches above normal to settle at 31.5 degrees Celsius.
