North Goa Collector Mr. Mihir Vardhan today started the Magisterial enquiry in the violence and deaths of two United Tribals Association Alliance, UTTA, agitators who were burnt alive by the miscreants on Wednesday at Balli. They were agitating for the Tribal demands. On Thursday, Chief Minister of Goa ordered a magisterial probe in the matter. Mr. Vardhan today visited the spot and has taken stock of the situation.Meanwhile the situation in Balli is returning to normal. UTTA leaders demanded judicial probe in this matter. The Congress High Command has sought a report from the state government.
