The Committee of Administrators (COA) today said that all six north eastern states will be playing Ranji Trophy cricket as individual units next season once Supreme Court pronounces verdict on their membership status. The six states- Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh- had met COA chief Vinod Rai in New Delhi today with the plea of taking part as a combined unit this season. However, they will play as separate states in the age group categories (Under-16, Under-19 And Under -23) from this season onwards.
